Prayer request
I just found out that my dad's oldest brother died this morning. It was kind of unexpected. Please pray for all the families involved. Pray that my dad and his remaining two brothers will be able to handle the stress of loosing a third brother in the last year and a half.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANNIE!!!
Today is my Mom's birthday. I just wanted to let her know how much she means to me. She has always been my friend even when I didn't want her to be. She has always loved me more than I could have imagined until I had my own children. You have blessed me with a wonderful upbringing in Christ that I once tried to run from, but THANK God I came back to. Thank you so much for being my mom!!.jpg)

Carol is home
Good news! Carol is home now and doing much better. They put her pace maker in on Friday around 2:45 in the afternoon and she was AWAKE the whole time! They let her come home Saturday around noon. Please keep praying for her as she continues to recover from this. I appreciate everyone that sent cards to her, it really lets me know who really cares for me and my family.

Carol UPDATE
The cardiologist that specializes in the electricity of the heart(electrophysiologist) has seen Carol and has been watching her closely for a few days now. He has decided that enough of the medicine is out of her system now to determine that her heart is just not wired correctly. This is likely congenital as several of Carol's siblings have similar trouble with their hearts. Carol is going to require a dual chamber pacemaker. This just means that there will be two leads coming from the pacer. One will lead to her upper chambers and the other will lead to her lower chambers. They will fire when needed so that her heart will beat at a good speed as will as in the correct order. She will still need medicine to keep her heart from racing.
She will be getting this put in tomorrow at 3:30ish
Please say a prayer for her!
If you would like to send a card you may use this link to send her one electronically and they will print and post them in her room for her.
They have her as Barbara Bullard, room CCU 10.

Update on Carol
Mom did not get to go to a regular room today, she is still in ICU. She had another cardiologist (Dr. Teague) see her this morning and he decided to do some tests. She had a TEC(internal picture of her heart) and a stress test. His plans were to do the TEC and follow it with cardioversion(shocking the heart back into rhythm) but that had to change after the first test. He said that Mom's heart problem started some time ago and it has just now caught up with her. There is too much damage to do the Cardioversion. One chamber is barely working at this point. His plan (the plan changes with each cardiologist) is to treat her with medication and REST. Lots of rest. In a few weeks, he is hoping to see the heart strengthening. He went forward with the previously postponed stress test today and we will have to wait for those results in the morning. His reasoning was that he needed to know where the damage was and how bad it was in order to treat her as aggressively as possible without over doing it. He also wanted to know for sure if she has had a heartattack.
Mom is still very weak and it doesn't take much at all to have her heart racing. We are trying to be as quiet and calm as a Bullard can be when we visit her. She does seem to be doing a little better. Tonight she got up and we walked over to the sink so she could brush her teeth and she still had enough strength to pull herself up in the bed afterward. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it is a quantum leap from Monday.
Daddy is hanging in there but the concrete floors and those uncomfortable waiting room chairs and the worry really is getting to him.
I think that Nancy is going to set up a caringbridge site and as soon as she does we will let you know the name. That is were we will then post updates.
PLEASE continue to pray for Momma and Daddy.
