Starting tonight thru Monday at lunch we will be camping at Hornsby Hollow with Sarah and Perrie. There will be lots of pictures to post when I get back. I will have pictures of camping and my dad's party. My cell phone may or may not have signal, so just keep trying to get me if you need to.

Student Council Vice President

My good-sweet-little Audrey was nominated by the teachers for a seat in the Student Council. Little did we know that she would be in a tie for the Presidents spot. Audrey and a girl that is an upcoming Senior were in a tie! It all came down to one thing that seperated them. One being a Sophomore and the other a Senior. So they gave it to the girl that is a Senior. I'm still very proud of her! Especially knowing that the teachers had to nominate her for the role. She is such a blessing to me and everyone she comes in contact with. She is the light of my life!

She has set so many goals for herself in life-

1. Not focusing on getting a boyfriend- but keeping her eye on the prize- BASKETBALL.
2. Being a STARTING Sophomore in Basketball, since our first game is against Kingston this upcoming year.
3. The teachers told her that if she stays on track with her grades and the classes she is taking that she would be an academic scholar.
4. Being a good driver. (Everyone keep us in your prayers on that one)

NEWS BULLETIN!! ALERT!!

Audrey has a boy friend! I don't think I like this at all. James wants to hunt him down and kill him already. They went fishing together yesterday and the boy even baited her hook. What a guy! James just keeps saying things like- he likes to fish? you better watch out... I guess cause he knows what he did took HOOK me.

Jonathan meets ONE of his many heros!

Wesley Strader and Jonathan- This is a local guy turned professional fisherman. Jonathan thinks this guy is the stuff. Jonathan wants to become a Pro-Fisherman/ Baseball Player/ Moocher... He basically wants to be Rich and Famous!

My diagnosis- very grim

Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. -
Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden.

As I turn on the hose in the driveway,
I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.

As I start toward the garage,
I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.

I lay my car keys on the table,
put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table,
and notice that the can is full.

So, I decide to put the bills back
on the table and take out the garbage first.

But then I think,
since I'm going to be near the mailbox
when I take out the garbage anyway,
I may as well pay the bills first.

I take my check book off the table,
and see that there is only one check left.

My extra checks are in my desk in the study,
so I go inside the house to my desk where
I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks,
but first I need to push the Coke aside
so that I don't accidentally knock it over.

The Coke is getting warm,
and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke,
a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye--they need water.

I put the Coke on the counter and
discover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.

I decide I better put them back on my desk,
but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the glasses back down on the counter,
fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote.
Someone left it on the kitchen table.

I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV,
I'll be looking for the remote,
but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table,
so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs,
but first I'll water the flowers.

I pour some water in the flowers,
but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.

So, I set the remote back on the table,
get some towels and wipe up the spill.

Then, I head down the hall trying to
remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:
the car isn't washed
the bills aren't paid
there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter
the flowers don't have enough water,
there is still only 1 check in my check book,
I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses,
and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.

Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all damn day,
and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem,
and I'll try to get some help for it,
but first I'll check my e-mail....

Happy Mother's Day

This is my mom from nearly 40 years ago and now.
I just wanted to let you know Mom how much I love you and appreciate you. You have given me a great upbringing and I could never tell you enough how much I appreciate that.

Farmer Kelley

I have decided this year to plant a garden. Two weeks ago I bought some seeds and little plants and got the ball rolling for this garden. Jonathan rototillared (sp?) the area and then when he got tired Audrey and I came in behind him and finished it off. I planted red and yellow tomatoes, green pepper, strawberries, cabbage, cantalope and watermelon. I bought the seeds for cucumbers, squash, zucchini and carrots. I will be transplanting those into the big garden this weekend now that they are big enough. I just last night started some broccoli seeds and asparagus. Asparagus is going to be cool to grow. You plant it once and it comes back for 20 years! I will post a picture later.

Audrey got glasses

Audrey and i went to the eye doctor and found out that she is farsighted and I have good vision for a middle aged lady. I thought I was going to smack the doc over that comment. Anyway, I got computer glasses to keep my eyes from being so tired. Here is a look at Audrey.

I still haven't had time to update my post...BUT! A lot of other people have updated their posts yesterday and today. Lots of other things to read besides mine. hahahahaaaaa! I will update tonight and tomorrow -I SWEAR!!
